Vice President of Sales

Location: Washington D.C.

Overview

TrustBearer Labs is a growing online software company that develops a platform and applications for identity assurance and multi-factor authentication.

We sell software products and services to customers in government, healthcare, financial, and Internet commerce verticals. Our management has established a number of internationally-recognized customers using shared sales resources, but reaching a wider client base and more customers will require a complete sales process and team to explore leads, follow up on potential customers, and pursue the numerous leads the company already receives on a weekly basis.

We are looking for an experienced Software Sales Executive to help us build a sales department, develop new business, and take our company to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales targets in assigned markets, with a focus on deals of $100,000 and larger
  • Discover, correspond, and follow-up on incoming leads in assigned markets
  • Identify and present the value of potential accounts by estimating prospective revenues/profits, the costs of sale, and costs of services and support
  • Effectively communicate TrustBearer Labs’ value proposition; product importance and features; consulting services; and services and support
  • Arrange and perform products and features demonstrations, tailored to specific markets, for potential clients • Prepare presentations, reports, and price quotes to win new business
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, trade shows, and training events
  • Continually observe competition, competitive products, trends is assigned markets, and trends in the industry

Requirements

  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to project a vibrant sales attitude, positively reflecting the company’s image
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years of software or IT sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of, and established relationships with regional and market-specific industry
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and negotiate/close deals
  • Strong self-management and self-motivation
  • Ability to travel frequently
